Allyson knows stuff you don't. That's not a knock on you—she just has a big leg up on all of us after spending a half decade at The Chronicle of Higher Education. Not only is she intimidatingly up to date on all matters education policy and politics, but she's also a battle-tested digital marketer. In her time at The Chronicle she managed (among many other things) their email marketing programs, subscription renewal efforts, and product marketing. And while she's mastered an array of in-the-weeds technical tools (including facility with multiple marketing automation platforms), she never loses sight of the big picture—like making sure Waybetter's clients hit their enrollment goals.
Given all the foregoing, it won't surprise you to learn that Ally was a summa cum laude graduate of Salisbury University, where she studied marketing and communications. She was also a standout on their varsity soccer team.
